Terminology

There are various different “street names” for heroin. Amongst others, these include: brown, skag, H, horse, gear, smack, dope, shot, and skag. There are also various terminologies used for when the heroin is mixed with another substance: an atom bomb refers to when heroin is mixed with marijuana, china white refers to synthetic heroin, chasing the dragon refers to a mixture of heroin and crack, and junk, or a “speedball” refers to heroin mixed with cocaine.
